The SAQ started to tackle the 19 concrete projects from the Action plan. These first steps make the difference and allow the company to distinguish itself as one of the best retailers in Quebec when it comes to sustainable development. The organic wine selection represents about a hundred products that are both good for your taste buds and for the planet. Look for an assortment of these products in their very own section in outlets. And don’t miss the eco-practical zone which features wine sold in alternative packaging.
This first three-year-long plan is the initial step in a long sustainable development process based on a long-term vision. With this, the SAQ hopes to stand out as a socially responsible corporation, to elicit the support of all implicated parties and mostly, to contribute in making Quebec a society respectful of its environment, daily and in the long term, in tune with current and future concerns.
