Delivery
Two delivery services are available:
Canada Post delivery policy for community or urban group mail boxes, rural routes and temporary automobile shelters :Your order will be delivered to the door if it is located within 0.5 km of the mail box or the rural route line of travel. If the door is farther than 0.5 km from the mail box or the rural route line of travel, a Delivery Notice card will be left. You may then pick up your order at the postal outlet indicated on the notice. If the residence features a temporary automobile shelter and that the only way to acces the door is trough the shelter, a Delivery Notice card will be left. You may then pick up your order at the postal outlet indicated on the notice. Upon delivery of your order, the identity and age of the person receiving the parcel and signing the receipt are verified. The SAQ shares delivery charges with customers who purchase online by covering 50% of delivery costs, in addition to packaging and handling fees, whatever the amount of the order. When gifts are offered, they are shipped to the billing address without delivery charges.
Delivery charges are calculated based on Canada Post’s preferential corporate rates for the SAQ. These charges vary depending on the postal code, the order’s exact weight before packaging and the selected delivery service. A number of factors influence the weight of an order, such as the type of bottle (shape, thickness of glass, etc.). The weight of gift sets includes gift packaging Note that the higher the number of bottles ordered, the less costly the delivery charges per unit will be.
