A red full of floral notes, almost purple, like lilac, violet and lavender. There’s something mesmerizing. Notes of cherries and an ample, slightly woody mouth. A hint of blackberry, a touch of figs.
Lots of generosity here, very mouth-filling. Notes of kirsch, animal aromas, almost like garrigue. Simple and easy.
Paolo Conterno has us hooked on his modern, accessible and affordable wines. He does it once again with this cuvee. Black fruits, supple texture, silky tannins.
Really ripe Barbera. Accents of lavender and violet. Marked by wood, which brings on some vanilla notes. An hint of licorice, almost minty.
