Jack Daniels Master Distiller #1
Established in 1866, Jack Daniel Distillery is still active in the small, 360-inhabitant town of Lynchburg, Tennessee. Located in a « dry county » where the sale of alcohol is prohibited, it exports its famous charcoal filtered whiskey made from the local spring water all over the world.
The « Master Distiller Series No. 1 » special edition, bottled at 43% ABV, pays homage to the first of the seven Master Distillers that followed one another at the company, none other than Jack Daniel himself. The whiskey reveals aromas of wood, caramel and roasting.
