An historical wine made entirely with Cabernet Sauvignon and a tiny production of only 13 hl/ha. The powerful nature of Cabernet paired to the finesse and authenticity of the terroir.
Also known by the name «Pichon Lalande,» this property was tended to by the dynamic and devoted Mme May-Éliane de Lencquesaing for 30 years before being acquired by the Rouzaud family (Roederer champagne) in 2007. Completely renovated, new cellars will allow Nicolas Glumineau, managing director since 2013, to access to state-of-the-art facilities. With an eye to constantly innovate, the estate's team is currently testing three hectares under organic cultivation and three under biodynamic. Frédéric Rouzaud, current owner, is clearly not afraid to slip this estate into a higher gear.ES 89-91 WS 89-92
