“The Charles Baker Riesling is a project of Charles Baker, Sales Manager at Stratus, and Jean-Laurent Groux, the estate's oenologist. They work together on this label which is meant to be the expression of the best Riesling terroirs of the Niagara Peninsula. Combining depth and character, this emblematic cuvée is one of Canada's finest wines. The 2019 vintage expresses itself with delicate aromas of exotic fruits, pears and citrus fruits. On the palate the wine is semi-dry, unctuous and tasty, carried by a fine minerality and a biting acidity. A gastronomic wine to pair with fish dishes in sauce, game terrines and strong cheeses.”
