Domaine François Carillon Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Champs-Gain 2013

Following the split of the family property between the two brothers in 2010, François exploits an artisanal-sized estate of 6.5 hectares of vine, all grown with Chardonnay under the communal appellations of Chassagne-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin and Puligny-Montrachet. Born out of a unique parcel from the latter, the Premier Cru Champs Gain offers sumptuous ampleness surrounding lacteous, toasted and fruity notes. Rich of some 15 descendants of winemakers before him, he follows in a tradition to sign the refined and elegant wines the family is known for.
