Domaine Roulot Meursault Premier Cru Les Bouchères 2014
Detailed info
This family estate has established itself as a serious producer of Meursault in large part due to the work of Guy Roulot. Following his passing in 1982, his son Jean-Marc inherited the property. Wearing two hats of actor and winemaker, he is reinventing the Meursault signature by shifting away from richness and opulence to focus more on purity and frankness. Good news: As of 2017, David Croix (Domaine des Croix) is assisting him.
«Has an exquisite bouquet of very pure lime flower, dried apricot and hints of Turkish Delight ... that make this one of Jean-Marc's most exotic Meursault wines. The palate is beautifully balanced with perfect acidity - it is utterly harmonious with a seamless, captivating finish that might leave your jaw agape. This is fabulous from start to finish.»
