“A wine that needs air, that is very mineral and has a great balance between power and freshness is the 2015 Arbois Chardonnay Clos de la Tour de Curon from limestone soils. They get very low yields from this vineyard; they get four barriques from 0.27 hectares of walled vines, like the ones from the past, and the finesse of the Bajocian limestone (the same as in Corton-Charlemagne). It has good ripeness without any excess, but above all, it has great minerality. This is a tour de force of the Chardonnays from Jura. Bravo!”
