Known for his controversial campaigns for Benetton and his love of Appaloosa horses, renowned photographer Oliviero Toscani is a little less so for his Casale Marittimo wine business, located a few kilometers from the renowned Bolgheri vineyards. A majority of Syrah is balanced by Cabernet Franc and Teroldego, which a mere 20% will age in 2 to 3-year-old barrels. Black and red fruits join the lovely floral and spicy notes in a very fresh, elegant and rich whole.
