Anne & Jean-François Ganevat Le Sa Vient d'Où ?
Detailed info
Crowned 2018 winemaker of the year by La Revue du Vin de France, Jean-François Ganevat is one of the big names in the Jura region. To make up for tiny harvests in difficult vintages versus high demand for his cuvées, the oenologist has developed a business of buying grapes from colleagues who adopt the same philosophy. Outstanding wine made from an unlikely blend of Savagnin, Viognier, Picpoul, Clairette and Grenache, some macerated, some developed under flor or on lees. Fruity, floral, honeyed, mineral and slightly cloudy - it is unlike anything else and that's precisely what we like!
