The “Gran Reserva” mention on the label means it was aged in casks for at least 24 months over five years before being released on the market. So here is a reasonably-priced evolved wine; that’s why the wine offers an orange-red color. Its nose exudes aromas of cooked fruits, nutmeg and sandalwood, complete with aromas of torrefaction. Faithful to the aromas perceived on the nose, it is marked by flavours of sweet spices and plum jam. Excellent versatile wine, to be enjoyed with a roast beef au jus or game rillettes.
