A star of Old Castilla, Alejandro Fernández owns estates totalling almost 800 hectares. From his table wines to his famed Janus cuvée, the “master of Tempranillo” has upheld his reputation. Aged in casks over 24 months then refined in bottle for a minimum of 3 years before hitting the market, this cuvée possesses quit a bit of substance and a welcomed freshness. The mouth features vanilla and torrefaction, along with flavours of ripe red fruits and leather. Perfect to stretch out a meal starting with braised or grilled meat and ending with cheeses.
