20. Bottero Di Cello

In 20th place is a versatile and affordable blend of Chardonnay and Garganega. With a delightfully tart mouthfeel, dominated by aromas of white fruit and green apple, you may find it to be the refreshing pairing of your dreams for dishes like fondue with Quebec cheeses.

19. Albert Bichot Bourgogne Aligoté

A classic in its category, this wine is just the thing to accompany oysters, cheese platters and fish dishes. Always nice to have a bottle on hand for impromptu invitations!

18. Arbolencia Sauvignon Blanc Verdejo 2024

Raise a glass to the last corn of the year with this accessible organic white, superb served alongside grilled corn with feta, basil and oregano.

17. Le Grand Ballon Sauvignon Blanc

This Grüner Veltliner certainly doesn’t lack personality, with its notes of cilantro, lime and white pepper—not to mention its four labels adorned with hybrid insects. Catch them all!

10. Cazal Viel Rosé Vieilles Vignes

Wonderfully balanced thanks to its blend of Cinsault and Syrah, this dry yet versatile rosé livens up get-togethers all year long. It’s also a great pairing for French onion soup or mussels à la provençale.

9. Esterhazy Klimt Burgenland

While its label featuring Klimt’s The Kiss catches the eye of art lovers, its mineral and fruity character charms the palates of Grüner Veltliner fans. A wine as lovely as it is tasty!

Drumroll please… In third place is a Moldovan red with a generous mouthfeel and balanced woodsy notes. As an ideal pairing, think moussaka or shepherd’s pie. It’s an excellent choice for both summery grilled dishes and comforting autumnal fare—as well as our wallets. 

2. Is This It ? Grüner Veltliner

An outstanding intro to popular Grüner Veltliner wines, this expressive white offers the tartness, mineral quality and peppery bite typical of this varietal. And its price is just as nice!

1. Gérard Bertrand Gris Blanc Pays d’Oc

Finally, customers’ top pick this summer: an organic rosé that feels like an excuse to linger at the table in good company, as if you were in the south of France where this wine is from. Ideal served with fresh and tasty bites that call to mind warmer weather and make the most of late-summer harvests, it’s also great—all year round—paired with more substantial fare like carbonara pasta and apple and cheddar crepes.
