Each year, we import and market alcoholic beverages from over 6,000 suppliers from 77 countries. To achieve this, we maintain close relationships with our partners and suppliers, without necessarily transacting with each producer.

Therefore, under the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act, we now have the duty to prevent and more effectively reduce the risks of forced labor and child labor in our supply chain.

To achieve this, we have deepened the assessment of the ethical dimension of our supply chain and enhanced our due diligence process. We have notably undertaken the collection of information from partners in targeted countries to ensure that workers are treated fairly and kindly and operate in an environment that respects international human rights and labor standards.

These actions complement other regulations and codes that govern our work, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Occupational Health and Safety rules, or the Employee Code of Ethics and Conduct.

The world of wines and spirits is one of sharing, pleasure, and passion. This is why we care about the well-being of the communities that contribute, here and elsewhere, to the alcohol trade in Quebec.
