Independance, know-how and prestige

Founded in 1992 by Robert Drouhin and Miguel Torres, the Primum Familiae Vini association was born from a shared belief: protecting the independence and heritage of great family-owned estates. Its mission: to preserve a centuries-old model—the family business—and pass on a living know-how to future generations, blending tradition and innovation.

For only the second time in 13 years, the twelve families that make up this circle—among Europe’s most prestigious—are gathering in Montreal for an exceptional event at the Ritz-Carlton. In the presence of honorary president Prince Robert of Luxembourg, numerous representatives from these legendary houses—Antinori, Rothschild, Vega Sicilia, Pol Roger, Perrin, Drouhin, Symington, Torres, and more—will share their vision and offer a chance to discover exceptional cuvées in an atmosphere that’s both refined and convivial.

The event will unfold in two parts: an initial tasting in the form of a mini-fair, followed by a grand gastronomic banquet in the Oval Room. A unique opportunity to connect with fascinating personalities and savour some of the world’s most coveted wines.
