- 45 ml (1 1/2 oz) spiced rum
- 180 ml (6 oz) black-cherry soda*
- 60 ml (2 oz) tonic water
- 3 ice cubes
- 1 cherry (fresh or from a jar)

Combine all the ingredients, except for the cherry, in a highball glass filled with ice cubes.
Stir using a mixing spoon.
Garnish with a cherry.
