- 125 ml (1/2 cup) ice cubes, plus more for serving
- 1 lime wedge
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) salt
- 45 ml (1 1/2 oz) tequila
- 30 ml (1 oz) Cointreau
- 30 ml (1 oz) lime juice
- 15 ml (1/2 oz) simple syrup
- 5 ml (1 tsp) green olive brine
- 5 ml (1 tsp) jalapeño brine
- 2 slices jalapeño pepper
- 3 green olives

In a shaker

Place the salt on a small plate.
Rub the rim of an stemmed glass or old fashioned with the lime wedge.
Coat the rim with salt.
In a shaker, vigorously combine the tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, simple syrup, both brines, 1 jalapeño slice and the ice cubes.
Fill the glass with ice.
Strain into the glass.
Garnish with olives and a jalapeño slice.
