Preparation
Named in honour of painter Marc Séguin, who often spends time on Île aux Grues, this cheese hides beneath its semi bloomy rind a very melted, almost spoonable paste with buttery, hazelnut flavours. Through its roundness, volume, and complementary notes, the Cuvée Signature Chardonnay from L’Orpailleur creates a true mirror effect with the cheese.
Other possible pairings: Fruity and sweet wine, semi-sweet cider, aperitive cider.
