Maple whisky sour
- 45 ml (1 1/2 oz.) whisky
- 45 ml (1 1/2 oz.) fresh lemon juice
- 20 ml (3/4 oz.) maple syrup
- 1 maraschino cherry
- 1 wedge of orange
- 1/2 egg white (optional)
- 1 or 2 drops of Angostura bitters (optional)
- Ice cubes
In a shaker filled with ice cubes, add all ingredients except the orange wedge and the cherry.
Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds.
Pour the contents of the shaker into an old-fashioned glass.
Add the maraschino cherry to the glass.
Decorate with the orange wedge.
