According to the producer's website, this wine – which was fermented and aged in oak barrels – could have been named "Risalcone", a nod to the fact that it's a blend of the Salco and Riserva wines due to a difficult vintage. An interesting result with evolutionary scents of dried and cooked fruits, leather, soft spices and incense. With its silky tannins, it's greatly accessible.
