Seared Tuna Steak with Mango Salsa

  • 2 tunas steak
  • 1 unit greek yogourt 2%
  • 2 unit  guacamole
  • 1 unit cilantro
  • 4  wheat tortillas 6 in
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 mangue
  • 0.5 yellow onion
  • 0.5 unit de lime
  • 1 unit garlic glove
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil

Preparation

  1. In a large pan, pour a thick layer of vegetable oil (about 2 cm).
  2. Cut the tortillas into 8 equal triangles.
  3. Fry in the oil until lightly browned.
  4. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Season with salt.
  6. Set aside.
  7. Seed the tomato.
  8. Cut the tomato and mango into small cubes.
  9. Chop the onion and garlic.
  10. Roughly chop the cilantro.
  11. In a bowl, mix the tomato, mango, onion (to taste), garlic, cilantro and the juice of half a lime.
  12. Season well.
  13. Set aside.
  14. In a bowl, mix the guacamole with the yogurt.
  15. Set aside.
  16. Season the tuna steaks well on both sides.
  17. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over high heat.
  18. Once the oil is hot, add the fish.
  19. Sear the fish about 2-3 minutes on each side (the tuna should still be slightly raw in the middle).
  20. Remove from heat once cooked.
  21. Squeeze immediately the juice from the other half of the lime to finish cooking.
