Ingredients
  • 60 ml (2 oz.) Canadian whisky (preferably of the ''Medium-bodied and woody'' taste tag)
  • 45 ml (1 ½ oz.) fresh old-fashioned apple juice
  • 25 ml (¾ oz.) lemon juice
  • 15 ml (½ oz.) maple syrup
  • 1 egg white (optional)
  • 1 thin apple slice
  • Ice cubes
Preparation
In a shaker
Preparation

Combine all the ingredients in a shaker except the apple slice.

Dry shake a few seconds.

Add ice cubes and shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds.

Strain into an old-fashioned glass containing a few ice cubes using an ice strainer.

Garnish with a thin slice of apple, placing it gently on the top of the cocktail.
