180 ml (3/4 cup) barbecue sauce
30 ml (2 tbsp.) maple syrup
4 individual thin pizza crusts, precooked
500 g (1 lb.) chicken strips, cooked
1/2 red onion, minced
1 yellow pepper, julienned
4 artichoke hearts, drained and minced
750 ml (3 cups) Monterey Jack cheese, grated
60 ml (1/4 cup) fresh parsley, chopped
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Mix the barbecue sauce and maple syrup, and spread the mixture on each pizza crust.
- Top with the chicken, onion, pepper and artichoke.
- Cover with the cheese.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the cheese melts and is lightly golden.
You can cut the pizza into small, bite-sized squares and serve as an appetizer.
