180 ml (3/4 cup) barbecue sauce
30 ml (2 tbsp.) maple syrup
4 individual thin pizza crusts, precooked
500 g (1 lb.) chicken strips, cooked
1/2 red onion, minced
1 yellow pepper, julienned
4 artichoke hearts, drained and minced
750 ml (3 cups) Monterey Jack cheese, grated
60 ml (1/4 cup) fresh parsley, chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Mix the barbecue sauce and maple syrup, and spread the mixture on each pizza crust.
  3. Top with the chicken, onion, pepper and artichoke.
  4. Cover with the cheese.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the cheese melts and is lightly golden.
  6. Serve.


You can cut the pizza into small, bite-sized squares and serve as an appetizer.
