Flagstone Treaty Tree
Flagstone wines are named for historic events in South Africa. A peace treatywas signed in 1806 beneath the boughs of what came to be called the Treaty Tree, which is still standing, in Cape Town’s Woodstock district. The wine is beefy, with notes of tobacco, plum and smoke, and pairs nicely with grilled red meats.
