The A.O.C Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits spreads over 20 communes and according to the sommelier Jacques Orhon produces relatively robust wines with a lingering flavor and buffered tannins. In line with the appellation, the Belle Canaille sets itself apart with aromas of candied cherry, leather, cocoa, and wood in a taut mouth.
