Born from the hillsides of Etna, the biggest volcano still active in Europe, this cuvée offers a novel profile thanks to the Nerello Mascalese variety, which is perfectly-suited for volcanic soils. To temper the sometimes very "solar" profile of southern Italian cuvées, the appellation combines its scents of cherry and dried herbs to a quite dry, not very tannic texture. Pair with a burger, marinated chicken skewer or grilled tuna filet.
