Burmester Reserve 2010
Having mastered quality port production, Burmester also signs dry wines of distinct personality like this Douro aged 12 months in French casks. Decant it to round out its tannins a bit, and it will reward you with a divine profile of cooked fruits, ripe black fruits, licorice, vanilla, cedar and oak. Since 2000, Burmester has been owned by the Groupe Sogevinus, which also includes Cálem and Barros.
