The unique character of Esporao comes from a combination of the hot Alentjo sun, the cool Atlantic breeze and the shale and volcanic soils where the vines that make up this cuvee grow. All this, plus the well-mastered wood aging, make it what it is: an ample red with firm tannins and flavours of ripe black fruits, spices and wood.
