This is a rare occasion to discover a wine from Val d’Aoste, a tiny Italian region close to the French and Swiss borders. The estate is a property of the Charrère, a French family established in the region since the mid-18th century. The wine is composed of local varietals: 70% Petit Rouge, along with Mayolet, Tinturier, Cornalet and Fumin.
