Working the vine in Waimea Plains (Nelson area) since 1993, Trevor and Robyn Bolitho saw their Sauvignon Blanc awarded a mere four years later. On a total of 130 hectares, the portion dedicated to Pinot Gris is blessed with great sun exposure and a vegetative season assured by the tempering sea proximity and hill shield. The caressing sweetness of this cuvee is balanced by lovely acidity. Notes of pear, honeydew, mandarin and green apple make the wine quite inviting.
