Easton Zinfandel vieilles vignes Eschen-Rinaldi Vineyard 2009
California-born Bill Easton acquired an enviable reputation by making wine with Rhone varietals with great success under the Terre Rouge label, named after the region’s colourful soil. He also produces a line of wines under his name, this time with varietals that have nothing to do with Rhone, like this Zinfandel. The complex cuvee is made from old vines and evokes scents of plum, wood, torrefaction and licorice.
