Château Pesquié Quintessence 2017
These are the wines best mastered technically in the appellation. Thanks to poor soils and a fresh microclimate, Ventoux offers exceptional conditions to produce grand white wines. The Chaudière family planted Roussanne and Clairette vines on a west-facing hillside 300 meters in altitude. Quintessence white, a very versatile and uncommon wine, is produced in very limited quantity. Its ample texture and accents of pear, quince, honey, linden and hazelnut make it a perfect match for cheese platters. Bravo.
