Daimon Blanco 2015
The importance of Bodegas Tobía in Rioja is fairly recent. Founded in the mid-1990s by Oscar Tobia, the property is supplied by 80 hectares of vine spread on 15 communes of the region. This is an intriguing blend of Viura, Tempranillo Blanco, Sauvignon Blanc and Malvasia, separately vinified and then assembled and aged in new American (70%) and French (30) casks. An exuberant and puzzling wine marked by flavours of dill, citrus, ripe apple and flowers.
