M. Chapoutier Les Granilites Saint Joseph 2018

The Saint-Joseph appellation is located in the wonderful northern Rhône Valley. The wine is luscious, complex, present, powerful, but at the same time gentle, welcoming, simple and classic. Les Granilites is made from 100% Marsanne, a soft, slender grape variety. It has a subtle straw yellow colour, a present nose filled with minerality, yellow fruits such as pear and a little exoticism with its banana notes. Its mouth is generous, but in all simplicity, welcoming and endearing to all palates. A wine for discovery and above all for sharing.
