Sancerre is mostly known for its vibrant and refreshing white wines, but like with red wines of the appellation, this rosé is made of Pinot Noir. It is produced from direct pressuring of the grape, yielding a light and salmon-pink rosé. The scents of raspberry, orange and grapefruit are joined by a slight herbaceous note. Light and subtle, it will be perfect as an aperitive or paired to chicken salad with tomatoes.
