Bouchard Père & Fils meursault 1er cru Le Porusot 2011
Detailed info
Aged 12 months in French oak barrels (15% new), this Meursault is just the thing for fans of ample and persistent Chardonnays. A legendary Burgundy estate founded in 1731, Bouchard Père et Fils was still under Bouchard management until the turn of the century when it was bought by Champagne power-producer Joseph Henriot. Although the producing team remains the same (including winemaker-extraordinaire Philippe Prost), the acquisition allowed the estate more resources.
