    More new products, back in the new year

    New arrivals are taking a break during the holiday period and will be back on January 11, 2024. Until then, (re)discover your Cellier must-try selection. Very popular among wine lovers, these tried-and-true bottles are sure to please.

    Top 10 of the must-try selection: crowd-pleasing whites and reds

    Looking for last-minute ideas to serve to guests, or to bring to your hosts? Choose from these white and red wines, which have been so successful that they landed a spot in our Cellier Must-Try selection. Take your picks, these are sure to please.

    1. Much like many South African estates, Boschendal represents the complicity between ancient traditions and modernity.

    2. Property of the Zonin estate, very prolific in Italy, this Pinot Gris cuvée highlights its freshness and fruitiness thanks to rapid pressing and a stainless-steel only production. An excellent versatile wine, it can be enjoyed as an aperitif or anything from fish sticks, a crab cake or even a chicken salad.

    3. Four friends, an organic nature, indigenous yeasts, very little sulphites ... and lots of fun. This is what best summarizes the activity of the founders of Les Tètes, the brand behind this blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Roussanne and Chenin of great purity. Notes of clementine, pear and white flower come together in a light and easy-drinking ensemble.

    4. With an expressive minerality both on the nose and the palate, this Grüner Veltliner is a delicate wine whose notes of green apple and lime give personality to a set that does not lack pep! Nice work from this Austrian estate located not far from the city of Langenlois. Davis Weszeli keeps a long family tradition alive that goes back to 1679.

    5. This family estate launched its business in the 1980s by capitalizing on vines located high and on the most mountainous part of Bierzo. Enjoying more freshness and a greater  gap between day and night temperatures, the Mencia grapes that mature slowly reveal here aromas of black fruits, violet, venison and a herbal touch.

    6. Chocalán comes from the name of a native yellow flower grown in Valle del Maipo, Chile's most ancient wine-producing region. This 2011 Syrah cuvee is actually blended with some Cabernet Sauvignon (7%), Merlot (5%) and Viognier (3%). Aged 12 months in French and American oak, this could very well be the best deal from Chile at the moment. Its fatty texture is graced with fleshy tannins.

    7. Carefully selected from a trio of vineyards in the town of Montalcino, the ripe Sangiovese grapes deliver a wine that is both generous and supple. This is a cuvée combining tradition and modernity, that would pair beautifully with roast pork or pasta alla gigi.

    8. Rhône. Crozes-Hermitage. Smells of humid dirt, of animal notes. There's something  fauve about it. A Syrah with accents of violet and fresh ground pepper. Refined. Cherry skin, cranberry, raspberry. Ripe and juicy.

    9. Côtes Rocheuses is one of the leading wines produced by the « Union des producteurs de Saint-Émilion », in business for over 80 years. Made up of 80% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc, it is, in a way the archetypal modern Saint-Émilion.
