Types of events
Walk-around Tasting: Tastings showcasing several producers from a same region, country, or product category. Each event allows clients to discover and enhance their knowledge by talking with the producers and tasting their products paired with bites, all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Gourmet Dinners: These evenings allow SAQ Inspire participants to taste, in the presence of a featured producer, selected products paired with the dishes of a meal served in a flagship restaurant of the region.
Grand Dinners: High-end evenings showcasing several producers from a same region, country, or product category. Each of these evenings allows customers to have a unique experience depending on the type of products featured and to have exclusive contact with the producers. These evenings typically begin with a cocktail, followed by a gourmet meal perfectly paired with the presented products. See video example(French only)
Virtual Tasting: Born during the pandemic, virtual tastings allow customers from all over Quebec to enjoy tastings in the comfort of their homes, with family or friends. These events are sold as box sets on SAQ.COM. The videos are available on the SAQ YouTube page (@lasaq) in the SAQ Inspire Events playlist. See video example(French only)
Festive Aperitif: A festive aperitif is a convivial tasting event where guests are invited to discover a selection of featured products in a festive and relaxed atmosphere. The producers present contribute to the success of the evening by offering participants the chance to taste products and engage in unique and exclusive brand experiences. The event is accompanied by bites paired with the featured products. See video example (French only)
Tickets and Purchases
Ticket purchase is made on a partner website, Lepointdevente.com. When you click on the link, you are redirected to this external ticketing service, and Lepointdevente.com's personal information management policy applies. The displayed ticket price includes taxes and gratuity fees. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
Refund Policy
Ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable but transferable. If the event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the organizers' control (such as natural disasters or other events), all participants will receive a full refund.
Transportation and Parking
Details about parking will be provided when you purchase your tickets. However, we recommend planning an alternative means of transportation (public transit, taxi, etc.). The Point Zéro 8 designated driver service is also available at all our events in the Montreal metropolitan area (fees apply).
Inspire Points
- Get 2x the Inspire points on the purchase of a ticket for all SAQ Inspire Events.
- To receive the points, you must purchase the tickets with the same email as your Inspire account.
- Points are calculated on the ticket price before taxes.
- You will see the points in your SAQ Inspire account within two weeks following the event.

Because before drinking well, it is essential to have enough to eat, $5 per ticket or tasting set sold will be remitted to Food Banks of Quebec.

Eco-friendly events
To minimize its ecological footprint, the SAQ adopts these measures: Limited use of printed documents, limited use of single-use items by caterers, use of local suppliers, encouragement of the use of public transit (whenever possible).

If you plan to attend one of our events and are a person with reduced mobility, we invite you to contact us to discuss your specific accessibility needs.
Age Verification
In compliance with Quebec laws on the consumption of alcoholic beverages, our events are for individuals aged 18 and older. Therefore, participants who appear to be 25 years old or younger may be asked to provide identification.
