Detailed info
A front-runner of the appellation. Known for her ardour, vision and talent, Catherine Péré-Végé, who passed away in 2013, left her mark on both Château Le Gay and Pomerol. This 2010 vintage is probably her greatest legacy and one of the most accomplished wines of the past 10 years, as Robert Parker's almost-perfect score of 99 illustrates. It is now up to Ms. Péré-Végé's son, Henri Parent, her daughters and oenologist Michel Rolland to pursue her work.
