«Because I like pleasant and frank wines, obviously, I'm going to enjoy Beaujolais. But forget candy-ish Beaujo that taste like banana... There's so much better out there! Jean-Paul Brun is a remarkable producer. His wines are always straightforward, easy-drinking and mouth-filling. His Morgon has that great Beaujolais fruit taste, but also scents of fresh dirt, a touch of leather and a solid structure. Fine but firm tannins will allow the wine to evolve beautifully over the next 5 to 8 years.»
