Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Brut 2006
Detailed info
The eminent Reims estate is once again operated by the brilliant Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger and his children Vitalie and Clovis. The prestigious Comtes de Champagne cuvee was born in 1952 and is only made when outstanding vintages occur. The 2005 vintage unites Pinot Noir (70%) and Chardonnay (30%), both from Grand Cru-classified vineyards.
Truly exceptional and not to be missed.
The salmon-pink hues reveal scents of raspberry, strawberry, vanilla, mild spices, chalk, rose and cocoa. The ample mouthfeel expresses great freshness and ends in a long finale.- Country France
