Established north of the prestigious Stellenbosh region, Hartenberg has enjoyed a particularly important rise since the appointment of Carl Schultz as winemaker in 1994. Known for its Syrah cuvees, the estate also shines thanks to its Rieslings, no doubt some of the most seductive of the region. Quite baffling, this one offers a bouquet of grilled notes, apple, honey and lime zest.
