La Chapelle d'Ausone Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2012
Detailed info
Under the watchful eye of Alain Vauthier and his daughter Pauline, Château Ausone is today known as one of the most illustrious properties of Bordeaux's right bank. Chapelle d'Ausone, the second wine, represents about half of the production of the seven hectares, ideally located half-hillside. Made from equal part Merlot and Cabernet Franc, this elegant Saint-Émilion offers a complex profile of truffle, graphite and blueberry. Its freshness, purity, balance and persistence are truly on par with the property's great wine.
