Jack Daniel’s Sinatra
Detailed info
Established in 1866, Jack Daniel Distillery is still active in the small, 360-inhabitant town of Lynchburg, Tennessee. Located in a « dry county » where the sale of alcohol is prohibited, it exports its famous charcoal filtered whiskey made from the local spring water all over the world.
As its name suggests, « Sinatra Select » was created to honour legendary singer Frank Sinatra, a big Jack Daniel's fan. It is made with whiskeys aged in special barrels dubbed « Sinatra barrels », that have deep grooves on the inside of the staves in order to bring more intensity to the whiskey, which displays accents of roasting and vanilla.
