Proprietor of both the Domaine de Bellene and the Roche de Bellene wine merchant business, Nicolas Potel is a reputable man who mainly works with the most prestigious appellations of Burgundy. These include the Vosne-Romanée commune, which delivers this supple, ample and persistent cru. The wine is fashioned by Mr. Potel from a small 21.5-acre portion of this climate where Pinot Noir grapes are grown organically and maintained with horse ploughing.
