Domaine Pierre Morey Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru 2014
Detailed info
Recruited by the renowned Domaine Leflaive in 1988, Pierre Morey spent 20 years alongside Anne-Claude Leflaive, simultaneously managing the family estate's 11 hectares biodynamically. His daughter Anne now heads the estate in addition to the Morey-Blanc brokerage business. Truly inspiring.
«A cool and notably restrained nose displays aromas of white flower, lemon zest and subtle spice hints that are set off by subtle hints of pain grillé. The ripe and rich large-scaled flavors are relatively refined yet overtly powerful while displaying a suave and pure mouth feel, all wrapped in a balanced, textured and superbly persistent finish. This is really a very classy bâtard.»
