Château Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan 2013
Detailed info
According to Jean-Philippe Masclef, oenologist and cellar master at Château Haut-Brion since 1995, «a wine is only great if it lingers in your memory.» And he would know: one of the finest and most sought-after whites of Bordeaux-if not of France-is without question Château Haut-Brion. The diminutive size of production at the estate, however, means that only a few thousand bottles a year are available. The inseparable Sémillon and Sauvignon beget freshness, fattiness and structure. An impressive wine in a class all its own that offers «sweet aromatic fullness in a dry wine!»
