Detailed info
After traveling the world, first steps will be taken in Burgundy, at Domaine des Épeneaux. Pascal Marchand was not yet 25. Renowned winemaker, he paired up with Moray Tawse, owner of the eponym estate many time crowned « Winery of the Year » in Canada, to create this mini wine-merchant business. Born from northern and southern vineyards of Côte de Nuits, this cuvee is aged 10 months in previously-used casks and 6 months in vats. It reveals notes of cherries, undergrowth, humid dirt, beet and strawberries in a supple, silky and long mouth.
